Participating in RingSingThing is easy and fun. We make your phone the Microphone!

Simply call 02 6223 2040 (we do not charge for calls but normal telco charges apply).
- You will be asked to key in from the following categories to put your song in:
- Rock
- Pop
- Hiphop/rap
- Country
- Beatbox
- Rhythm and Blues
- Other
- You will then have 60 seconds after the tone to sing (you can finish early by pressing the hash key). YOU MUST SING WITHOUT ACCOMPANYING MUSIC. ONLY VOICE IS ACCEPTED. SONGS BREACHING THIS WILL BE REMOVED.
- You will then be asked to select whether your song is an original or cover and to leave a name for your song.
- Finally you will be issued with a password/number that you can use along with your phone number to log into the website and add a nickname, watch your songs, vote and more.
When your song first occurs on the web site the nickname will be anonymous until you decide to change it.

How Voting Works
Voting on RingSingThing is calculated at the end of each calendar month for that month. If you song is at the Number 1 position at 12.00 midnight (ie the most votes in that month) on the last day of the month at midnight then you are the number position holder for that month.
